Owatonna Area Business Development Center

Hall of Fame

Each year, beginning in February 2020, the Owatonna Area Business Development Center board convenes to select their nominating class for their Hall of Fame. Many factors going into this decision:

  • A Hall of Fame nominee should have a business that has been a part of Steele County for 15 years or more.

  • A Hall of Fame nominee should be a recognizable business leader in our community.

  • A Hall of Fame nominee should be someone that new entrepreneurs want to emulate. They treat people with respect, and they have the highest level of integrity in their business dealings.

  • A Hall of Fame nominee is a leader, who has a passion for the community, and engages in activities that help others.

  • A Hall of Fame nominee should have a long history of success in our community, and whose name and contributions can be directly tied to the growth and sustainability of Steele County
