Owatonna High School

On the third day of National Entrepreneurship Week, the community is invited to view 10 different entrepreneurship stories in the Owatonna High School Auditorium from 9 - 11:30 am. Then a bus tour will be held from 12 - 2 pm, where our tour guides will share details about the history of local businesses. Roy Koenig from KRFO will be doing a live remote on Bus #1, and there will be stops along the way where community members can visit businesses. Please join us for a fun day of entrepreneurship!
OHS Auditorium
9:00 - 9:15: Superintendent Jeff Elstad and OHS Principal Kory Kath will discuss the proposed student run business at the High School
9:15 - 9:30: We will talk to Paula Trenda about her business Curly Girlz Candy
9:30 - 9:45:
9:45 - 10:00: We will talk to Ruth Livingston and Kaitlyn Madole about their business Scrunchies X-Tra
10:00 - 10:15: We will watch a video recorded interview by Josie Sullivan with her brother Jay Sullivan about his shoe design business.
10:15 - 10:30: We will talk to Josie Sullivan and maybe her business partner Molly Hawkins about their business - Uffda Gear
10:30 - 10:45: We will talk to Nolan Baker about his business - Baker Tech Services
10:45 - 11:00: We will talk to Nolan Baker and members of the robotics team about the process of building the robot and what it was designed to do.

Bus Tours
Bus #1 will load at Owatonna High School at 11:45am in the tennis court parking lot. From there the tour guide will explain the history of the businesses as you travel to:

Owatonna Area Business Development Center - you will be able to get off the bus at this stop, and tour the facility
